How to play

Secret Rule in five steps.

    Choose Secret Rule and let Yakery select a hidden rule.

    Players take turns submitting short examples they think will pass.

  3. 3

    Yakery marks each attempt accepted or rejected without exposing the rule.

  4. 4

    The shared evidence board grows while the room discusses competing theories.

  5. 5

    Submit the final hypothesis and reveal both the rule and the evidence that mattered.

Why “coffee” passes but “tea” fails

The room may suspect drinks, length, or vowels before noticing the true pattern: accepted words contain a double letter. Each rejected guess eliminates another tempting explanation.
